Illiana Woodworkers Mission
The goal of the Illiana Woodturners is to form a strong club membership of woodturners in the Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana area. The club will help new turners with proper instruction in all areas of woodturning. A well equipped work shop with both heating and A/C is located on the premises. Mentoring is available to all levels of turners.
Membership
Membership is $50 per year and provides the member access to the woodturning shop and all other benefits of a member.
General Information
The woodturning shop is open Wednesday evenings from 5 pm – 8 pm, and on Saturday from 9 am – 12:30 pm. Call first to be sure!
The Illiana Woodturners membership meetings is the second Monday of the month. The doors open at 5PM with the meeting starting at 7PM – Meet & greet (5pm – 7pm), Meeting & Demonstration (7pm-8pm), Project Critiques/raffle (8pm – 9pm)
Board meeting is held on the Saturday before the second Monday, when the club meeting is held. Board meetings begin at 12 noon.
Illiana Woodworkers is registered as a 501c nonprofit organization.
